The HSGBU seeks long term sustainable growth by doing the following: · Build broad, integrated solutions that incorporate best of breed solutions, spanning the healthcare continuum (particularly clinical development and safety), that deliver the most effective user experience at the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). · Continue to leverage the value of information and actionable insights by leading the market in the development and adoption of clinical and health data warehousing, analytics and collaboration platforms. · As the healthcare and life science industries converge, create a portfolio of new, high value solutions that enable the more effective development of diagnostics and treatments, the emergence of personalized medicine and the expansion of to value based healthcare. Brief Description Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes. Detailed Description Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures. Job Requirements Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 2 plus years relevant work experience. Additional Details The Business Planning Analyst position will include the following responsibilities: Produce the SaaS Pack for the SaaS business reviews Gather data and report for the weekly pipeline and UAT review with sales &services Track headcount movements in the SaaS and Support LOB’s Work closely with the BP Manager on the production of the annual business plan Working closely with the SaaS Global Resource Analyst complete the resource modeling for the Inform, OLX and IRT services resource and outsource resources requirements. Track and summarise monthly expenses for the SaaS & Support LOB’s Liaise with the other members of the BP team on all BP matters affecting the SaaS & Support LOB’s Core Requirements: 5+ years of financial analysis/business analysis experience Knowledge of software revenue recognition and associated issues Ability to travel occasionally as needed. Preferred requirements: Experience of budgeting/forecasting Background in SaaS business and accounting Ability to travel occasionally as needed
