For our new plant in Cluj that we are currently building up, we are looking for several Process Engineers for the production of Electronic Control Units. Your responsibilities: • Supervision of technical processes in the production of Electronic Control Units, such as: o Placing electronic components on Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) by Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Through-hole Technology (THT) o Soldering and Welding o Cutting and Coating populated PCB o Final assembly of populated into housings by pressing in, clipsing, flanging and crimping, screwing, gluing etc. o Optical inspection, also with Automatic Optical Inspection systems (AOI) o Electrical contacting of PCB and connectors for electrical test • Define technical processes and manufacturing equipment, support sourcing • Provide programming of machines and process parameters • Starting up new machines, equipment and workplaces. Preparation of technical approval and release. • Support start of production, ramp-up and running series • Optimize processes to increase quality and utilization, by using statistical methods as statistic process control (SPC) • Provide manufacturing instructions and documentations. Your profile: • Degree in technical study, such as mechatronics, mechanical engineering, precision engineering, electrical engineering, material engineering, physics or similar • Preferably experience in electronic manufacturing industry with one or more of the mentioned process areas, ideally within automotive area. • Knowledge of Lean Production • Knowledge of quality methods, such as 6-Sigma, FMEA etc. and of technical statistics • IT knowledge: MS-Office, SAP R/3, eventually programming of machine controls (PC or PLC) • Language skills: o English: good o Beneficial are additional skills in German, Hungarian or French • Ability to work in a team and to communicate • Willingness for intercultural cooperation • Self-dependent, structured and analytic operation.
