Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. Detailed Description As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality. Job Requirements Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area required. A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience required. Technical Skills Possess strong experience developing Enterprise Applications with the J2EE Platform specifically with Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), ADFBC, JSF and Web Services. Good Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Java programming/debugging skills, experience working with Oracle WebLogic server. Knowledge of Healthcare/Pharmaceutical domain will be a plus. Knowledge of other Oracle Fusion technologies will be a big plus. Responsibilities Develop functional, technical designs and unit test scripts for features of medium complexity, according to provided functional designs. Contribute to functional and technical designs. Build code and unit test complex program units. Handle source code and release management issues. Debug, fix and unit test product defects. Perform design and code reviews. Demonstrate program functionality to Quality Assurance engineers, product analysts and technical writers. Participate in reviews of other development document deliverables (requirements, functional design, technical design, functional test scripts, iHelp documentation, and curriculum). Contribute to the definition of the team processes and standards. Operate independently and as part of a team. Manage the delivery of simple features from inception to Quality Assurance acceptance. Qualifications Possess B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field. Possess typically 4 - 6 years of previous software engineering experience. Perform moderately complex problem solving skills with minimal assistance and guidance. Deliver projects on time and with a high degree of quality. Possess good understanding of cross-product dependencies and interacting with internal and external customers. Demonstrate excellent design skills. Possess very good written and oral communication skills. Experience working across geographies.
