As an Application Administrator, the candidate is responsible for provisioning, maintaining and supporting the CRM On Demand application servers; including all the middleware J2EE applications on multiple servers using OAS and Web logic, Siebel CRM On Demand business logic application and OBIEE application. Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advanced technical skills. The individual needs to standardize the operations based on general best practices so that they can be repeated across servers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install or Upgrade Web Logic 11g Server on Linux OS.
• Install, Upgrade and configure Siebel application
• Support CRM On Demand Production environment for Customer instances
• Configure connections to Web servers, databases or other systems.
• Manage the server life cycle, and monitor application server services and resources.
• Configure applications, Deploy applications, modify applications in an active domain and monitor activity within applications.
• Troubleshoot problems on various layers of the application and infrastructure. Provide internal analysis and support.
• Create and maintain validated documentation set for operations of various service components
• Manage performance of multiple hardware and J2EE software environments
• Manage web and application servers and proxies
• Enhance and maintain existing environment(s) capacity and capabilities.
• Set up and Configure monitoring scripts to integrate with Enterprise monitoring.
• Identify and resolve Data migration issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience installing, configuring either OAS, Web Logic products on Linux servers
• Experience installing, configuring Siebel CRM products, Siebel Analytics, OBIEE, or Informatica products on Linux and/or Windows-based servers
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent qualification is needed.
• Isolate and troubleshoot issues related to application access, system performance, peak loads
• The Candidate would need to work well in a team environment, should have strong interpersonal skills and strong documentation skills
• Previous experience working in a Production Support environment is a plus
• Ability to prioritize work based upon continuous new input and changing business needs. Must be proactive and preventive in problem solving
• Ability to learn quickly on the job and work independently after training without constant supervision
• Ability to deliver high quality results with attention to details.
