CATEGORY: IT COUNTRY: Romania JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for infrastructure management of Bitdefender Enterprise Cloud Solutions (Cloud Security for Endpoints, Bitdefender SaaS for AWS etc). JOB RESPONSABILITIES: - Administer all layers of infrastructure: from PaaS infrastructure (like amazon AWS), OSes, up to auxiliary application layers (web servers, databases etc). S/he will not manage the Bitdefender applications, as this is a dev team responsibility. S/he will be responsible for the network configuration (topology, firewalling, IDS etc), the OSes and auxiliary app layers patching, configuration management, deployment and monitoring of Bitdefender solutions; - S/he will assure the security of the solutions by setting proper access/role management, requesting, organizing and/or conducting vulnerability audits, pen testing, security audits, log monitoring etc.; - S/he will work with a team to define the backup/restore policy and she will implement it; - S/he will work with a team to define and implement a real-time monitoring system for the Bitdefender solutions. S/he will install and configure monitoring tools, will create scripts, will consolidate the data into reports and alerts; - S/he will propose optimizations in the whole system. REQUESTS: - Relevant working experience in a similar or related IT position, with 2+ years hands-on experience in maintaining production environments; - Experience with Linux System administration (including network); - Programming: script level (bash, Perl, Python, etc.); - Knowledge and understanding of Virtualization Technologies; - Amazon AWS experience is a plus; - Systems and Software architecture experience is a plus; - Knowledge of monitoring systems (nagios, zabbix etc), configuration management tools (Puppet, CFEngine etc); - Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex, unique problems; - Professional behavior.
