Full-time Stagii de practica la CEPOL - 2013

at European Police College in Bramshill, United Kingdom

Call for applications for Internships 2013 Every year CEPOL will offer a number of internship positions in order to provide individuals with the opportunity to learn more about the activities of our agency, and put their learning and skills into practice by contributing to CEPOL’s mission. Our internship projects aim to enhance the interns’ educational and practical experience through work assignments, to acquire or develop a particular expertise and an understanding of how CEPOL works. Interns shall not be considered as CEPOL staff members and their contribution to the organisation shall relate to explicitly defined internship projects. CEPOL offers only unpaid internships. Internships shall be granted for a minimum period of 1 month and a maximum period of 6 months. Interns must fulfil the following requirements: • be a national of a Member State of the European Union; • have reached the age of majority in their country of origin; • have a level of education which corresponds to completed or on-going university studies or vocational training relevant for the tasks of CEPOL; • have very good knowledge of at least two European Union languages, of which one should be English, the working language of CEPOL services; • provide a recent Certificate of Good Conduct prior to commencing the internship. Annex A of the Decision of the Director on Internships 07/2013/DIR sets out an overview of relevant certificates for each of the Member States. Applications must be submitted via email only to recruitment@cepol.europa.eu Deadline for the submission of applications is 1 May 2013. Each application for an internship at CEPOL shall be accompanied by: • a letter of motivation, • a Europass Format CV http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/en/documents/curriculum-vitae The documents shall be received by the Human Recourses Management Sector who will screen applicants to make sure they are valid and will transmit them to the CEPOL’s Heads of Unit according to the priority given by the applicant in the motivation letter. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their qualifications and, where necessary, telephone interviews with candidates may be organised. The successful applicants once they have been selected will be required to provide official documents justifying the fulfilment of the requirements listed in article 4.2 of the Decision of the Director on Internships 07/2013/DIR. CEPOL should keep, to the best level possible, gender balance and equilibrium between interns from the different Member States. CEPOL is under no obligation to accept an application and is at liberty to reject it, if deemed appropriate. Internships will be offered to the successful candidates, where there is agreement on the starting period and length of the internship. Candidates are requested to provide information on their availability at the time of their application. Given the high quantity of applications received, CEPOL will only contact successful candidates. Candidates who have not heard from CEPOL at the end of the month of September of the year of submission of their application shall consider that their application has been refused. The keeping of files by the Human Recourses Management Sector shall respect the Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data, whether the applications gave rise to the conclusion of an internship agreement or were not considered, rejected or withdrawn.
