Trainee - OPS B - Monitoring - Public Sector Unit Job ID:100462 Location: Luxembourg Regular/Temporary: Temporary The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking for its Directorate Directorate for Operations outside the European Union (Ops B)- Monitoring Division - Public Sector Unit (PU) - at its headquarters in Luxembourg: Trainee: Duration of traineeship: 5 months starting as soon as possible Objective of the traineeship: The trainee will assist the Monitoring Division (PU unit) in the supervision of a growing portfolio of projects/operations/counterparts to monitor. Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Head of Unit, the trainee will: Assist the Unit in the collection of the reports to be produced by the promoters and the updating of the database (Serapis etc.) Assist the monitoring officers in the preparation of Periodic Project review and counterpart review Contribute to the preparation of the reporting report to the European Commission Qualifications: Post-graduate education in Economics, Finance, or business related fields especially Law or Accountancy Excellent knowledge of the standard IT tools, in particular Excel; knowledge of Business Objects would be an advantage Excellent knowledge of English or French with a good knowledge of the other language; knowledge of Russian or Spanish would be an advantage More information on our EIB Internship Programme and Provisions for In-service training can be consulted on our EIB website or by this link.
